The difference between single twister and double twister

       Both single-strand and twisted-pair machines are used to bundle conductors into cables. So what's the difference between the two? Let's talk about the definition first. The single twisting machine is used to twist the core wires of various data cables into cables, and can realize the center and side wrapping at one time. The main focus is on the cabling of the core wires. Sometimes it is also called a cabling machine. The twisted pair machine is to twist the strands of various cable conductors. Large twisted-pair machines can also realize cabling of core wires. Usually, we also call the twisting machine a high-speed twisting machine.

       From the basic definitions of the two above, we can know that the main differences between the single twister and the double twister are as follows:

       The essential difference: the twisting bow completes one circle, and the twisting pitch is a single twist. If the twisting bow rotates one turn, the completion of 2 twist pitches is a double twist. This is what differentiates the two.

       Differences in application: The single-stranding machine focuses on twisting the core wires of large data cables, that is, cabling. The twisted pair machine mainly focuses on the twisting of the cable conductors. That is, the focus of the two is different.

       So what are the characteristics of the single twister and the double twister?

       From the above essential definition, when the twisting bow completes one circle, the single twisting machine can only achieve one twisting pitch. That is to say, in terms of efficiency, the single twister is lower than the double twister. Although the production efficiency of the single stranding machine is much lower, the stranding quality and cabling quality of the single stranding machine are much higher. Therefore, cable manufacturers can also choose according to their own conditions when purchasing. If the focus is on quality, then a single twister is a good choice. If the emphasis is on efficiency, then the twisting machine, that is, the high-speed stranding machine, is more suitable.
